Dear MSCA Librarians and Day Faculty,

Ratification of the tentative agreement on a three-year contract reached on August 20, 2021 continues until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021. Ratification is being conducted electronically using Election Runner. An email will be sent to your campus email address. The issues with email most email addresses not being uploaded on Monday has been corrected as of yesterday afternoon.

Ratification is open to union members in the day bargaining unit (not DGCE faculty).

If you are a dues-paying union member and do not receive the email by the end of the day today, contact the MSCA President (please check your SPAM folder first).

The tentative agreement references a COVID Adjustment Bonus, a memorandum of agreement on Paid Family and Medical Leave deductions and an agreement to enter into mid-term bargaining to try to find a new student evaluation instrument to replace the SIR II.

On October 1, 2021 the MSCA Board of Directors voted unanimously to recommend that members ratify the tentative agreement.
