2022 MTA Annual Meeting

The 2022 MTA Annual Meeting will be held Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21.

If you are interested in running for a seat please contact the chapter president at the chapter through which you pay your MSCA dues.  If you are not sure which university that is, email the MSCA Treasurer’s office at Treasurer@MSCAunion.org or call at 508-807-1055.


The MSCA has been allocated 52 seats based on our membership numbers.  On March 4, 2022 the MSCA Board of Directors approved the following chapter allocations based on chapter membership numbers:

Bridgewater – 12
Fitchburg – 5
Framingham – 6
MassArt – 4
MCLA – 2
Mass Maritime – 2
Salem – 9
Westfield – 6
Worcester – 6

The MSCA Board of Directors approved the following election procedure for the election of MSCA delegates and alternates that comply with the MTA election rules at its April 1, 2022 meeting.


This years meeting will have three attendance options.  Please see the Delegate Count Notice for details on the three methods to attend, and the in-person attendance requirements.

The MSCA Board approved the following stipend and reimbursement policy at its April 1, 2022 meeting for those who attend the meeting in person:

MSCA delegates to the 2022 MTA Annual Meeting who attend in person shall receive a $100 stipend for attendance at Friday’s business session and a $100 stipend for attendance at Saturday’s business session.  Delegates will be reimbursed for mileage, tolls, parking and a hotel room for Friday night only (at the conference rate) upon submission of receipts.  Reimbursement will not be given for meals.  Attendance shall be monitored by the MSCA President or the MSCA President’s designee.

Thursday, May 12, 4:30 – 7:30 pm
to learn about issues that will be discussed and voted on at the meeting.
