Post-Janus Legislation?

MTA and other public sector unions in Massachusetts are working to craft legislation to counter some of the attacks on and efforts to destroy unions. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available. When the time comes for members to call and to write legislators, we will send that notice.

House Bill 4153:  Healthcare For Adjunct Faculty

The MSCA has been a strong force working with MCCC and MTA to get a healthcare bill passed for part-time and DGCE faculty who teach a certain threshold of courses/credits per year. H4153 would do that.  The bill was reported out favorably by the Joint Committee on Higher Education and is currently before the House Committee on Ways and Means.
