Massachusetts Higher Education Working Group Released Framework for Reopening Colleges and Universities

The Massachusetts Higher Education Working Group released its recommendations regarding the reopening of Massachusetts colleges and universities yesterday, May 27th, at noon. The framework had previously been sent to Governor Baker.

According to the framework each college and university will be developing its own plan specific to its campus(es), and its own timetable(s).

As the nine state universities begin to release information regarding university-specific plans, we will post them on the MSCA website and send them out via email.

The working group consisted of presidents of 14 Massachusetts public and private higher education institutions, including President Cevallos from Framingham State University and Presidents Lapidus from Fitchburg State University. Also on the working group were President Gentile from North Shore Community College, President Salomon-Fernandez from Greenfield Community College, and President Meehan from the University of Massachusetts.
