Dear MSCA Librarians and Day Faculty,

Yesterday afternoon the Massachusetts Senate passed the supplemental budget bill that includes the funding for the MSCA day contract.

The Senate version differs slightly from the House version passed earlier this month. As a result, the houses will either put together a joint conference committee to reconcile the differences (which is common) or if the House leadership is content with the Senate version, the House may simply vote on the Senate version.

In either case, it is expected that the bill will be on the governor’s desk no later than early April.
