Dear MSCA Librarians and Day Faculty,

This evening the Legislature passed the supplemental budget bill that includes the funding for the MSCA day contract. The bill is laid before Governor Baker. We will let you know when the governor signs the bill.

After the governor signs the bill the funds needed to pay the increases must be transferred from the Executive Office of Administration and Finance to the Department of Higher Education and then to the state universities. This typically takes a few weeks.

At that point we will know the date salaries will be increased an the date retro payments will be made.
