Dear MSCA Librarians and Day Faculty,

On October 1, 2021 the MSCA Board of Directors voted unanimously to recommend that members ratify the tentative agreement on a three-year day contract.

The tentative agreement references a COVID Adjustment Bonus, a memorandum of agreement on Paid Family and Medical Leave deductions and an agreement to enter into mid-term bargaining to try to find a new student evaluation instrument to replace the SIR II.

The bargaining committee will be putting together a summary and distributing that soon.

Ratification is open to union members in the day unit.

Ratification will be conducted electronically.  You will receive an email at your university email address in two weeks.  Voting will be open October 18-22. Results will be announced when compiled.
