The team met with the BHE/Presidents yesterday, the last scheduled meeting before the beginning of the academic year.

The collective bargaining agreement for librarians and day faculty remains in full force and effect even though it expired on June 30, 2017.  We have been at the table with management since January 31st.  We put our full proposal – including financial proposals – on the table on March 23^rd.

The BHE/Presidents still have not put a financial offer on the table seven months into bargaining and two months after the expiration date.

We made some progress on minor language items yesterday, but not nearly enough to warrant business as usual on the campuses.
