The MSCA anticipates that the Massachusetts State Senate will pass the supplemental budget that contains the funding request for the MSCA day collective bargaining agreement today. The union has posted a spreadsheet on the Collective Bargaining Agreements page that will compute for you your new salary effective July 1, 2019. The spreadsheet takes into account promotions that occurred on September 1, 2017 and 2018, and PTR increases that were announced on April 1, 2018 and 2019. It does not take into account terminal degree adjustment of minimum salary adjustments. The spreadsheet does not compute the retroactive pay amount.

Please do not contact your university HR or payroll offices at this point. We anticipate that the retro pay and increases will be applied in late June of early July, once Governor Baker signs the legislation.

The union is working on a more comprehensive spreadsheet that will take into account terminal degree adjustments and minimum salary adjustments as well as the retroactive amount so you can verify that your new salary and retro pay were accurate.
