Subject: PTR and Leaves

Pat Markunas and I have been getting questions about whether it's OK to have one's PTR evaluation when on sabbatical or other leave.

Our position is that no one is precluded from undergoing PTR during a leave. We did not receive a firm answer from management on this yet, but for purposes of completing the PTR selection form, this does not need to be answered at this time.

Faculty and librarians eligible for PTR should request their PTR year in their preferred order without regard to any leaves they may be planning.
