Dear MSCA day faculty and librarians,

On June 4th the MSCA unanimously passed the following motion:

That the MSCA Board of Directors ask the MTA Board of Directors to delay making a recommendation in the 2010 gubernatorial race until the higher education collective bargaining agreements are funded.

I have transmitted this information to Ron Colbert, the MSCA's representative to the MTA Board of Directors (Region 45H), and he intends to make our position known at the MTA Board meeting that will be held on June 11 and 12. I have also transmitted this information to MTA President Anne Wass, MTA Vice President and President-elect Paul Toner, and the new MTA Executive Director-Treasurer Ann Clarke.
