Dear State College faculty and librarians,

The MSCA has been asked to join the Massachusetts Society of Professors - Amherst (faculty and librarians), University Staff Associates (clerical) and Professional Staff Union (professional) to conduct an informational picket at Governor Patrick's July 17 cabinet meeting to be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Bangs Community Center (70 Boltwood Walk) in Amherst, MA.

I will be attending the demonstration and hope that you can join us on Thursday. I will then be going to the governor's 6:00 p.m. town hall meeting in Holyoke.

Demonstrators are being asked to meet at Roa's Coffee House (next to the post office) in Amherst at 1:00 p.m. The demonstration will begin at 1:30 p.m. We will be wearing buttons and stickers, holding banners and distributing leaflets. We would appreciate your assistance in making our presence felt.
