Dear MSCA Faculty and Librarians:

Thursday is May Day, and the MSCA is planning to picket the governor's appearance at the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce breakfast in downtown Boston. The breakfast will be held at the Westin Copley Hotel, on Huntington Avenue at Dartmouth Street (behind Boston Public Library).

Picketing and leafleting will be held on Huntington Avenue from 7:30 am to 9:00 am. Plan to meet in the Westin Copley Hotel Lobby no later than 7:15 am. Academic dress is recommended but not required.

If you plan to participate in this event, please let me know on my cell phone (978-828-4463) and leave a phone number on that voice mail for me to contact you should our plans change. Please do not contact me by email about this event. Thanks. Following the picketing, the MSCA Bargaining Committee will meet with representatives of the employer at Framingham State College.
