Dear MSCA Members:

The Joint Committee for the Study of Salaries (Article XIII, Section M of the 2004-07 contract) has finalized its report and will present the report at meetings of the State College Council of Presidents and of the MSCA Board of Directors on September 8th.

MSCA Board meetings are open to all MSCA members in good standing. Our meeting will be held in McCarthy's Dining Room on the ground floor of the McCarthy Campus Center at Framingham State College. The meeting will begin at 10:00 am and the presentation of the report will be the first item on the agenda.

On behalf of the MSCA Board, I want to thank CJ O'Donnell (MSCA vice president), Paul McGee (Salem Chapter/MSCA) and Donna Sirutis (MTA) for their representation of the MSCA on this committee.

Please allow me to take this opportunity to report that my recovery from my accident in the spring has gone well and that I am walking again with certain limitations. I hope to be completely healed by the end of the semester. I thank the membership again for its support during a difficult time for me.

Please accept my wishes for an enjoyable and productive academic year.
