Dear MSCA Members:

The MSCA Board of Directors has voted to reimburse those MSCA members who wish to attend the MTA Summer Leadership Conference, to be held the second week of August at Williams College. Upon provision of registration and receipts, travel, room and board and the conference registration can be reimbursed. A cap of $2500 has been placed on expenditures for these reimbursements.

If you are interested in attending this conference, please contact my office directly and no later than Friday, June 9th.

S.1535, the bill to establish health insurance benefits for part-time faculty, is now in Senate Ways and Means. Please contact your local senator and ask him/her to urge the members of this committee to report the bill out favorably. Your prompt attention to this action is appreciated.
