Dear Colleagues:

Over the semester break, several developments concerning our collective bargaining have occurred. Board of Higher Education Chairperson Steve Tocco has decided to replace the existing management team with three representatives: Robert Antonucci, President of Fitchburg State College; Dana Mohler-Faria, President of Bridgewater State College; and Mark Peters, Esq., counsel.

We expect to hold a series of meetings with the new management team over the next few weeks in the hopes that significant progress can be made to reach an agreement. This period will be a delicate one and your patience and support of the negotiations committee will be very much appreciated.

Thank you for everything that you have been doing to support our bargaining strategies and actions.
