Dear Colleagues:

Welcome to our new faculty and librarians. And welcome back for those members who were away from campus over the summer or on sabbatical.

Governor Romney has signed legislation to extend the deadline to apply for early retirement to Monday, September 8th, 2003. Please contact your local campus human resources office if you have questions.

The MSCA (day) Bargaining Committee will meet with the employer's representatives on September 11th and 12th at Framingham State College to continue negotiations on a possible one-year extension of the current agreement.

The MSCA DGCE Bargaining Committee will meet with the employer's representatives in October to continue negotiations on the 2003-2006 contract.
