The House took up overrides of the Governor's vetoes starting this afternoon. A short while ago, they overrode his veto of the Commonwealth College. Finneran has announced his intention to take up overrides tonight of the early retirement proposal for state employees and the sunset provision on premium increases for health insurance . Based on information we've received while lobbying for these overrides, we fully expect the Senate to follow suit. We will update you tomorrow on the status of other overrides.
