Dear Colleagues:

Our MTA consultant reports that the Acting Governor has signed all collective bargaining agreements that were passed by the Legislature on December 5th. I have heard a report that pay increases and retroactive monies should be implemented no later than the second payroll in January.

The December issue of the MSCA Perspective should be on all campuses by the middle of next week. Your feedback is always appreciated.

Members who are interested in attending the National Council on Higher Education Conference, to be held the first weekend in March in Dallas, Texas, should contact my office no later than January 30, 2002. Further information will be published in the January issue of the MSCA Perspective, to be on campuses by mid-January.
