Dear Colleagues:

The Domestic Partnership Bill (SB1344), which would provide health insurance benefits to domestic partners of state and municipal employees, has been reported out of the Senate Ways & Means Committee favorably. It will be debated on the floor of the Senate on Tuesday.

MSCA has endorsed this bill and I consider it a clear legislative priority for our membership. Members are urged to contact their senators with the following message:

"Please vote in support of the Domestic Partners Health Insurance Bill. It's a matter of Equal Pay for Equal Work."
