The MSCA Board of Directors voted on election procedure for the election of MSCA delegates and alternates that comply with the MTA rules at a Special Board meeting on March 15, 2019.
The MSCA Board of Directors approved the following reimbursement policy at its meeting on April 5, 2019: “The MSCA Board of Directors authorize the following stipends and reimbursements for MSCA Delegates to the 2019 MTA Annual Meeting: a $100 stipend for attendance at Friday’s business session; a $100 stipend for attendance at Saturday’s business session; reimbursement for mileage, tolls, parking and a hotel room for Friday night only (at the conference rate). Reimbursement will not be given for meals. Attendance shall be monitored by the MSCA President or the MSCA President’s designee.”
Delegates are responsible for making their own hotel reservations and paying for their room up front. The Sheraton Boston is the convention hotel.
You are not required to stay at the either of these two hotels, but again, the MSCA will not reimburse more than the convention rate ($259, plus taxes and fees).
