1. Meeting Called to Order
The meeting was called to order by Paul McGee, the President, at 1:00 p.m. in Veteran's Hall, Ellison Center.

2. Approval of the Minutes
It was moved and seconded to approve the minutes of 03-04:5. The motion carried.

2. President's Report
Day Bargaining
A mediator is attending bargaining sessions in an attempt to assist the bargaining process. Currently, the Bargaining Committee is trying to get the colleges to fund the one-year proposal. Paul McGee recently met with President Nancy Harrington to request that the funding for the one-year proposal come from the college's budget. She stated she didn't want to set a precedent; Paul reminded her that the college funded an increase in the past. Bargaining will likely go into fact finding as management is blocking our efforts to bargain with them and withholding information from us as well.

Paul McGee spoke to the SSC Board of Trustees about our various problems with the BHE. The SSC Board of Trustees were very supportive of the MSCA and drafted a letter to be sent to Steve Tocco, of the BHE.

Program Reviews:
Program reviews have not gone completely through governance. Therefore, program reviews should not be performed, even though adminstrators are eager to have them done. Amy Everitt, Paul McGee, and Maggie Vaughn will speak to VP Diane Lapkin the week of May 10, 2004 about this issue and the fact that program reviews have not gone through governance.

It was moved and seconded to go into executive session. The motion carried.
